Doobie Brothers to Be Inducted into Live-Entertainment Industry Organization’s Hall of Fame This Fall

The Doobie Brothers and their longtime manager, Bruce Cohn, will be among the luminaries who will be inducted into the Nashville-based International Entertainment Buyers Association’s Hall of Fame this year.  The honor recognizes people and organizations that have made important contributions to the live-entertainment industry.

The Doobies will be the first rock act ever to be welcomed into the IEBA’s Hall of Fame.  Previous honorees include Johnny CashGeorge JonesDick Clark and Lawrence Welk.

  1. What would one call A Doobie Brothers fraternity? Is there a symbol for that? How many tour buses is it going to take to haul them all around the country? I think The Doobie Brothers are going to get everyone back together sooner than later. (I hope) So far I will see you at Shoreline Amp. hopefully Paso or something too. Great band, Thank you

  3. I might have watched the same video as Dave – I am now a Matthew Curry fan – Wow! – I always talk about “Gettin’ the band back together” but I’m a dreamer lol – the fact is the band has been together forever now and I love-em (duh) Great band – always -every Doobie ever. Thank you

  5. Frampton and The Doobies are such a great combo, it would be a kick to see The Doobies open with ” Do You Feel Like We Do” (?) and Peter open with ” Long Train Runnin” . Hear both songs twice.
