I attended the show at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay in San Diego last night. Absolutely fantastic! So much fun! Thank you Pat, Tommy, John and the rest of the fellas. What a night! The band delivered an awesome show & the crowd was on their feet. As Tommy so accurately put it near the end of the show, “Does everybody feel better than when you walked in here tonight?” The answer is a resounding “Yes!” The fellas delivered a super high energy show at a great venue. I drove down from Palos Verdes (LA area) for the show and cranked the Doobies on the car stereo all 3 hours home! Thank you for a lifetime of great music and memories!

The Doobies. What a great band that I had the pleasure of seeing in Phoenix, Arizona in 1973, shortly after their first album. Certainly one of the best concerts I have ever seen. They continue to provide great entertainment, proving they are not getting older, they are getting better! Rock on and keep rock and roll alive.

The Doobies (still) rock! Last night at the Saratoga Mountain Winery, they really showed they are still one of the best bands of all time! I loved every song. The harmonies and music were just as great as they were back in the 70′s. You guys still have what it takes. Keep on playing and we’ll keep coming to see you!!! I love the Doobie Brothers!!! woohoo!

Just wanted to say that my wife and I (who live in Italy as I work for the Department of Defense) flew to the states for a little rest and relaxation. We caught the show with Chicago in Norfolk, Virginia. All I can say is “WOW” !!!! We have seen you live close to twenty times over the years, but when you came out with Chicago and both bands were rocking each other’s hits, the hair stood up on my arms !!! Just an amazing show, an amazing evening, amazing memories and as always…..you guys are a most amazing band. You put smiles on the faces of many 50 and 60 somethings and their children………….and their children’s children !!!!! DON’T EVER STOP ROCKIN !!!!!!!!!!

They should just call these guys “The Road” because they have spent most of their days on it – traveling, touring and bringing happiness and Rock & Roll to thousands of fans around the World. I am amazed because they just keep getting better!

I’ve been a fan of the Doobies’ music all my life…which is too darn long. Thank God I finally got to see them perform. Chinook Winds in Lincoln City, Oregon (9/23/12). I’ve been waiting 30 years to see these people perform and was NOT let down in any way. They performed wonderfully!! The front row is a good place to be with these guys in town! Got my shirt! To the band….than you so very very much for such a wonderful performance. Your smiles and energy are contageous! I will never forget the show. Hey Tom, I hope your picture comes out!

Fantastic photographs, last saw the Doobies in Vegas 2 years ago, travelled from Scotland for 2 shows…..awesome the photos take me right back to Vegas. Last time before that was 1994 in Glasgow, Scotland…..please come back again soon. Such nice guys as I met John,Pat, Ed, Tony and Marc over the two nights, such fabulous memories. Keep going boys your just fab. x

I arranged a family holiday from our home in Scotland to fit in with your concert at Humphreys in San Diego on Thursday 13 September 2012. An absolutely brilliant night, the highlight of a fantastic 21 days in California. I have listened to your music loud and long for the past 30 plus years.
The last time I saw you ‘live’ was at the Scottish Exibition & Conference Centre, Glasgow on 10 March 1995 (i’ve stiil got the tickets from that night) and you are even better now.
Please don’t stop, keep on rockin’.
I didn’t take my camera into the concert as I didn’t think it would be allowed, so if anyone who was at Humphreys on the 13th September has any pictures could they please contact me at swg@supanet.com
